History of Zeta Tau Alpha
Nine women attended Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia and began Zeta Tau Alpha. They designated the the five-pointed crown and the strawberry as our national symbols. The official colors of the sorority were also decided. They are turquoise blue and steel gray. Zeta Tau Alpha was founded on October 15, 1898.

History of Zeta Upsilon
The Zeta Upsilon chapter was founded on March 14, 1970 at Edinboro University by 31 women. It was re-founded in April 2001 by 10 women. In 2007 we were recognized nationally and have been keeping Greek Life alive on
campus ever since!
